I went into pick up an rx, but first I had grabbed a paper, then a Time Mag caught my eye, and I grabbed or came in with a pepsi. I carry a pepsi everywhere I go. I was killing time, waiting for a friend to text me when she was ready to go run a couple of errands. OK I got the text when I was comparing ink prices. So I bolted not thinking I had in my hand a paper, Time Mag and soda, the soda I always have one. Anyway, I didn't get 2 ft out the door and I was hauled in to security, oh boy that was fun. The 2 security woman asked "Is this the first time you got caught stealing" I simply answered yes. Cop were called, they came in and I said the same thing to them. It was not on intent. I don't like WalMart as it is. As I told the cops my story, the 2 woman said "what were you doing back at the ink:? I said comparing prices, they said "no you were going to steal it" I said NO I wasn't I was comparing prices. I got cited to appear in court. I had done the court thing and paid $150. I'm unsure if I can go back to Wal Mart with out being arrested for "trespassing" so I am now writing to the law firm cause it's been well over 14 days. It's been 2 months, going on 3 haven't heard anything from Wal Marts' lawyers!! I live in a small town in Oregon. Only places to shop for house hold and things you need bathroom stuff......is Fred Meyer, kinda spendy, KMART way spendy, and ridiculous Walmart.  don't know what to do.

You can expect to receive a "shakedown" letter from some law firm in Florida probably demanding another $200 to $500.  They are basically in the business of sending shakedown letters.

    Shop elsewhere.
