I checked my credit card online statement yesterday and noticed that MVQ*PASSPRT2FUN and MVQ*TWENTY4PROPLUS have been charged $18.95 and $24.95 per month, respectively, for over a year now. Since I had credit card protection plan and was so relied on it, I did not review my statement each month. I ended up loosing money for over a year now.  When I called the toll free number 1-800-211-9741 (provided by my bank), no body answered my call.

I am so mad now, as I can not afford to loose money to these types of scams. Does anybody know how to stop it .

Credit card protection plans are worthless.  They are a waste of whatever fees you pay for them.

Any fraud protections, whether under federal law, or by VISA or MasterCard policy, depend on prompt notification of disputed charges, generally within 60 days.

Dispute ALL fraudulent charges through your bank, and block the card due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges.

This company is one of several being investigated by Senator Jay Rockefeller's Senate Commerce Committee, in recent hearings.

Call twenty4protect and cancel, don't feel so bad I just found out today that I've been being charged $20. since 06. Apparently I was being charged on behalf of Intelius, a company that does address searches. How did I miss this? I thought my web designer signed up for it to protect my website. Nope, so all this time that's what I thought it was,3 years @ $20 a month. $720. I canceled Intelius, but somehow that twenty4protectplus hides under their skirt, with their hand out. My fault to..but...I'm pissed.

MVQ*TWENTY4PROPLUS(Other) - I had 4 unauthorized transactions to my credit card account in the amount of $24.95 each. I called chase (my credit card company) and they transferred me to 24 protect plus's phone number. The first rep only could reverse one transaction. I asked to speak to a supervisor - that individual agreed to reverse the next three. I asked for their direct phone number as Chase had transferred me and it is 800-211-9749 which is 24 protect plus's phone number. Will be monitoring the account to make sure the reversals go through. 24 protect plus did not attempt to argue that I authorized the transactions and very quickly agreed to reverse. Now let's hope they do!

I have been dealing with this for the past three months. sending emails to this MVQ with no response. I finally found a phone number (1 800 211-9741) which i called and they canceled any account that I had with them and after some arguing credited me six payments of 19.95. Hopefully this will help others out there that have been scammed by this MVQ like myself.

I have been charged for 3 years every month and just realized it along with a company called EASY SAVER. $20.95 plus $14.95 for 3 YEARS!!!! I did an address search with Intelius and bought flowers from Proflowers who sold my info. to a 3rd party. I spent hours on hold and researching this before Chase finally agreed to look into it. The first Chase rep. would only credit 3 months back but then I called again and the next rep. was a lot more helpful. They will now credit all the way back to 2008. This sucks but at least it will finally be resolved.
DON'T LET THEM TAKE YOUR MONEY!

This Company is engaging in a fraudulent scheme, and the fact it has been getting away with it is a testimony of the effectiveness of the FTC and the states attorney generals' offices.  REPORT THE EVENT TO FTC, YOUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND THE U.S. SECRET SERVICE (they have jurisdiction over credit card fraud).  I just learned of my card being charged for 2 years.  I never signed up for the "services" or authorized the company to charge my card.  They informed me that I did so when I opened an Intellus account.  I may have used Intellus once.  The way this company operates, as when you contact them about the charges and try to get names of the responsible persons, is typical for companies that engage in fraudulent business practices.  Intellus is partially responsible for partnering with this company.  What do they do anyway?

I have been charged for about 3 years now. I have never even used intellus website. When I called I was very angry and the guy said he would hang up on me if I said [***] one more time. They only refunded the charge that was made today. Looking at my history they started at 20 and moved up to 40. I thought it was an internet fee. They told me years of scamming was non refundable. When I asked what the charges were for he fed me a line of crap about how the services help you with protecting your home and car. But they do no such thing. I really look forward to a fat check when these [***] get nailed.
