The mobile text message is obviously a scam and I did not respond.
Clues that it is a scam are:
'has won 750000 GBP..' GBP is obviously a foreigner's (that is speaks (?) English as a second language)idea of how to write pounds.
'for claims email wmaward@ymail.com' legitimate windfalls come from reputable sources. A strange email address is a dead give away.
This is a well known scam similar to the 'Nigerian bank' scam or 'relative in Spain who has died and left you...' scam.
Be sensible, if it looks too good to be true - it is; and is a load of rubbish.
The Telcos cannot do anything, we customers have to be alert and report this to the relevant authorities in our country and forward them the text message. That's what I have done.
Happy New Year
