Maytag appliances rust

We have had our Maytag refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher for a little over a year and the refrigerator and dishwasher are rusting on the face of the appliances. I contacted Maytag and they stated that they could not do anything to repair these since they are out of warranty. But then after my complaint on the web they contacted me again and mentioned that a service rep would come out to our property to look at the refrigerator  issue, but not the dishwasher. The service person did come out to look at the refrigerator, said they would order the new skins for it because of the rust, but could not do anything about the dishwasher. Even-though he said the dishwasher has the same rust problems. The cleaner/polish Maytag sent me does not work.
