Ashley furniture in Layton, Utah has the worst horible customer service I have seen ever before. I came to the store in July 2012, I bought two bedroom sets there, and receive it a month later because one of the pieces was not in stoke in august. I notice the bed was too big and I came to store in next day to let them know and exchange the furniture just to find a nasty MANAGER who was not happy about exchanging the bedroom set and even though I was right there, about three steps away, he would be telling the employee to tell me that if I returned the set there would be a fee of $700 dollars. The employee asked him to tell me since I was right there (the manager with his discriminating face did not even turn to see me and told his sales person that he was not going to tell me anything and for him to tell me)I do not know if it was because I am a Latino person but I felt so humiliated by that manager. On top of that, the sales man was reluctant to help me and was not very nice like he was when I went and spend there my money on both bedroom sets. The people who work have a very bad attitude and horible customer service. I reorder the furniture Labor day, and they told me I will get it in October, waiting over two months to have some furniture. I thought I was getting excellent quality, but instead, I should have gone to RC Willey and get my furniture. They are also expensive, but better quality customer service.
