Good housekeeping is renewing subscriptions and billing for them, bogusly referring to it as a 'convenience' for your renewal. Don't just toss those envelopes on current subscriptions,as they are invoices it turns out.  By overlooking your end date of subscription and allowing this to continue, you unwittingly are resubscribing. I called their number 1-800-888-7788 and spoke to a representative Sandy. I voiced my dismay and said I would be turning this into a complaint and likely the Better Business Bureau and she told me to "do what I felt was necessary' hence, here is my submittance here for one.

    I am so mad.  Good Housekeeping auto renewed my subscription on a credit card I still have but no longer us.  I called when I discovered this and gave them my new credit card and was told they would credit the card I no longer use.  Well they never did.  I have called and emailed with no action.  So in essence I paid $59.97 for 6 issues of a magazine.
