I was billed by DRI*AVG TECHNOLOGIES FOR PURCHESES WHICH I DID NOT MAKE. THE CHARGE ON MY CREDIT CARD WAS MADE ON 6th January 2018.  The amount is USD 89. 97 and USD 59. 98 . Please refund me my money and give me clarification on this matter.  Thank you.

    This company has a pending amount to come off my card . I was onto AVG and was assured there was no such thing at their end. I had cancelled my card and have to wait for a new one and the amount will still come out. Then I have to dispute the payment. I did not order...….

    On 20 May, in the early hours of the morning,  AVG attempted to take £74.99 that I had not authorised from my account. Fortunately, my bank declined to pay it as they suspected fraud.  Unfortunately (tho understandably) my bank also suspended my card in case another attempt was made to unlawfully remove money  but did not notify me that that this had been done til some hours later.
    As a 90 year old with health issues who has been self isolating, I am dependant on buying many items on line and only when I tried the next morning to make three purchases and each was declined did I realise there was something amiss.  I then had the hassle (which I can well do without!) of contactng my bank and having the card re-instated and subsequently placing the orders again.

    Looking for the telephone number of AVG (which itself they make far from easy)  I find numerous complaints about them taking money unlawfully.  Surely (and I write as a former magistrate) there is some punitive action that can be taken against a company that apparently regularly and continuously acts in this illegal way?   Does anyone out thete know what we can do to prevent others being conned in this way?
