Poor programming, poor reception etc.

I too was told that I would receive more channels and better reception, all this is a lie.  More channels maybe because the same programming is on several different channels,  better reception (lie) everytime I see a cloud come up I know I'm going to lose reception.
I had cable before and although there was occasionally a  day I lost reception it was nothing like Direct TV.  Tried to cancel and was told that I would have to pay aroung $600.  Total ripoff!
