I am going through the same thing as all the others! Unauthorized charges for a shipment! I have contacted both the company and my bank! It wasn't until I asked to speak to a supervisor that I was able to get the information to my bank that they needed to get my money back. Yet, I will still have to keep on top of everything! If this company refuses to give ALL the money back then the bank will dispute the charges and go after them for fraud! What makes these companies think you want a membership? Why are they not letting people know the trials are coming to an end and ask us if we want to continue? I hope that more people read this and perhaps a Class Action Lawsuit is in order or flooding out Attorney Generals with letters about this bad business! They took $106.00 out of my account and told me that I would have to wait 4-6 weeks for a refund less the shipping!!

    Guthy Renker from IOWA is sending me bills saying that I owe them moneys.
    1. I canceled within the time allowed.
    2. I paid the introductory price of 22.95 (cancled)
    They chose to charge me and not my credit card, why I will never understand.
    I disputed the charge on my credit card. Today I might owe:
    34.95+59.9+89.95 How does one legally stop these charges?

    We have gone through the Housing crash, our country dosen't have the funds police these things.

    I was going through the same thing... ordered... cancelled after the initial 30 day supply, before the 90 day shipment was scheduled to go out... only to find a charge appear 6 months later while checking my bank account online. I immediately called & asked what they were doing. Got told my account had never been cancelled, only "On hold" for 6 months. I told them that was NOT what I had wanted because I had to go on disability & knew I could not afford this luxury any more.. it was supposed to be CANCELLED. They did cancel it finally, after 2 separate phone calls, & refunded the money they took out of my account. 6 days later, another charge appeared on my bank account for "shipping". After several phone calls, I DID get that refunded, but not before their actions caused a chain-reaction deficit in my balance. When I talked to "Debbie", an account manager from Wen, she took down the info my financial institution needed (so they could refund the overdraft charges since it was Wen's fault for processing that payment in error), with a promise to fax my bank the letter. I had conferenced the call & the bank rep heard it all. Needless to say, a week later my bank still had not received that fax. And when I called Guthy Renker again, I was told (after being on hold for 5 minutes) that "Debbie" was off for the day & connected with "Mary", also an account specialist (but with Meaningful Beauty). Mary told me that they could not fax a request like that. I had to send them a copy of my bank statement to show their payment had caused the negative activity in my account before they would process a request to my bank. NO WAY would I EVER submit to them a copy of that with all my info on it after all this mess!! Looking into filing a complaint with the BBB, FTC & Atty Gen for my state. How can they process a payment for something I NEVER wanted, much less a WEEK after my account was CANCELLED!!

    I am having the same problem as the previous writers. I ordered the introductory kit for $29.95. I did not request auto-delivery. Today, I received a shipment which was charged to my credit card. I immediately called Wen and finally was connected to "Ashley". I stated to Ashley that I did not request auto-delivery and did not want the product. After attempting to get a word in edgewise, I finally told Ashley that I was not interested and was sending the product back unopened. I was told by a postal clerk that she personally experienced the same problem! How can this continue? Isn't this practice illegal?

    I just had a $34 charge on my credit card by this company and I have never even heard of it. I never inquired, never saw advertisement, and certainly never ordered it. What I don't understand is how they got my information. My credit card has not left my wallet. Any one have any insight?

      My elderly mother who lives with me received free samples of hair care products from Grc Wen by Chaz Dean.  She never asked for the products, and because they were samples, she threw them in the garbage.  Now my mom has a $113 charge from the company on her Chase Visa.  We have no idea how they got her Chase Visa account #.  She has never purchased any products from them and never signed up for any freebies from them.  Total fraud. I spent over an hour on the phone with Chase Visa and GRC Wen by Chaz Dean trying to make this fraud go away.  I'm guessing their company is buying info on customers from Chase Visa or from retailers and then using the info to defraud people.  They probably send out a million "trial" samples, charge a hundred million dollars worth of credit fraud, and even if only 20% of the people don't notice it, they score cool $20 million.  Justice Dept needs to open investigation.

        I would have reported my card lost and then a new one will be issued with a new number. This way they would not be able to charge me again..

          I did that and then got a "final notice" in the mail saying I owed yet more money than the recurring charges which required me to cancel my card to put a final stop to. The notice stated they're going to send my bill to a collections agency if I don't pay up. I suspect they're just trying to get my new card number now so they can continue these charges. Thoughts?

      I just saw a charge on my account for $31.71.  And I'm in the same situation as you. I had only ever seen commercials on TV about them.  Did you ever get an answer or figure out what happened? Thanks.

        I just received a charge on my bankcard by this GRC Wen by Chaz for $30.22. I have never heard of this company and did not make this charge. I will be disputing this wih my bank in the morning. This is horrible. How are these people getting our bank account numbers?

    I've never ordered anything from this company.  2 weeks ago they charged my account almost $40.  I called them up and they did verify that the 'shipment' was not going to my address - which means that I was probably a victim of identity theft! I called my bank, disputed it, blocked my card and had the bank stop payment.  Can you believe they filed a claim against me to pay them??!! Anyhow, I disputed it again.  Now I am getting another charge again!  I don't know what to do at this point, but I will be filing a complaint against their company and thru the BBB!

    Received trial package in mail, called my bank and will be disputing charges.  The product came to my house in the name of Apolonia Felicetti. Our credit card information is being purchased by this company!

    I've NEVER ordered anything from this company. I had to look it up to see what the hell is it that they sell or scam with. How are these people getting our credit card info? Now I have t cancel my credit card and change all the monthly services I have set up with my credit card, cell, cable, etc...

    And the inconvenience of waiting 7-10 business days to get my new credit card. Crooks!

    Same story for me: charges AND CREDITS from this company I've never done any business with. I had to go online to find out what product they sell. Like previous poster, had to cancel my credit card, wait 7-10 business days for the new one, and then update all my monthly services.

    My husband pays our bills, so it's really lucky we happened to be looking at a Visa statement together and I saw one of these charges from a company I didn't recognize. We looked back and they've been appearing for 5 months!!! Be sure to watch your credit cards for charges and credits from GRC*WEN BY CHAZ DEAN. Mine ranged from $29.41 to $45.34.

    i ordered a trial package online for $39.95. i really like the product, but then i saw a charge of $60 on my amex bill, i felt scammed. i called WEN about the new charge and i was told they sent another shipment, which i didn't order. i asked to have my account cancelled and i have since received a confirmation by email that my account was cancelled.

    i emailed chazdean.com and received a somewhat rude response from 'craig', explaining to me "All of their advertising channels clearly state that by purchasing from them, you are signing up for a membership and will automatically be reshipped product". scam.

    i received the shipment i didn't order over the weekend, the total amount is over $140, not $60; easy payment plan i guess! yesterday, i opened the pkg, completed the return ppwrk and took a couple of pictures of the outside of the package to show it was properly packed and addressed. today, i will send it back by UPS to ensure i have proof of delivery.

    The same thing is happening to me, I think we all have a Class Action againts Chaz Dean.
    I cancelled the order and 3 motnhs later they sent me the product. I did not open the box I sent it back
    with a letter saying thank you but your product is to expensive for me and I can not affort it right now.
    I have cancelled the order. Now they sent me to North Shore Agency.for Collection.

    Can some one help us.? Thanks

    Dear Sirs, I purchased the wen products about a month ago for 29.99. I made the woman I was talking to repeat everything 3-4 times. Because I wanted to make sure that I wouldn't be in some kind on club. I had never tried wen, but it sounded worth a shot. I was told that every
    month i would be billed for shipping only, and in 3 months i could chose a product or more . And i told her that I felt the product would last me AT LEAST 4 months and maybe 6 . I  was given a phone number to call in the third month to pick my conditioning cleaner. Bur that I wasn't obligated to ANYTHING! So I got my 29.99 shipment, and and have been using it. And its been about a month. And I was with some girlfriends and wen came into the conversation. And Annette told me that there is a class act lawsuit and that it was causing peoples hair hair to fall out. Of course i freaked out . I have straight hair . I haven,t really noticed a big change, but I do believe my hair may be thinner. Anyway I came home that night  and I had to get ready for gallbladder surgery the the next day. I used the product that day. I went to the hospital, had surgery and came home. And low and behold their was a big box here from wen. 101.82 worth of product.   Enough cleansing conditioner for a year ! plus mouse, antifrizzstyling . 4 products total. And I made sure that she told me at least 4 times this wouldn't happen. I was looking on my computer for information on weather or not this product would make my hair fall out, and I found this about the scam they are pulling. I called them and gave them a piece of my mind. They said they would send me a return label to send it back. This woman was a foreigner that was so hard to understand and i told her that 2 times an she wouldn't put anyone else on.. Anyway from what i did understand  the bill is in installments and it would take  4 to six weeks for a refund.! I couldnt even understand all she said, but i just had surgery and don't feel like bickering with anyone ! So please tell if you can do anyone about this. And also my hair does fill much thinner, and Im not using it again till i know for  sure. , Ill await your reply ! Cindia Cannon
