Confirmed tickets

On Wednesday, I booked two tickets to the Caribbean and received a confirmation number, on Friday I received a call telling me my flights wewe not confirmed.  I was then offered new flights for over $200.00 more. I refused and asked if they had returned my money, they said they had not charged the card.  I was then told I could try again, which I did on Friday, the same thing happened, I received confirmation number, but received a call a few minutes ago stating my flights were not confirmed and they have new fights for me but it cost over $200.00 nire.  I had to ledt the know I think it is a scam and I was going to report them,
