Big Scam for non-experts in Car-rentals

My car was being repaired so the garage offered me a car from this company, they have an agreement with.
They made me take the collision-damage insurance, without telling me what I was signing for, the guy told it was an authorization to freeze 250 CAD in my credit card to cover any damage on car "just in case", they never told me that I had to pay this from my own pocket. (Everything was supposed to be paid by my insurance, but apparently not this one)
Well they ended up changing me almost a hundred bucks two days after I returned the car without my consentment, I guess because I sign the contract...
Anyway, this happened in Longueil Quebec, Marie Victorin Branch, please be aware .... if you can avoid them, do it, if you find yourself there, then don't sign anything before asking twice, they really don't explain anything as it should be.
I am not an expert in car rentals, so I fell for inocent....
