Your best method to recover your money is through a dispute through your bank, which pushes the problem back through the banking system and tracks merchants responsible for "erroneous" or fraudulent charging. Immediately contact your bank to dispute the charge, and have them block your card number to prevent further charges. Your bank can reverse charges back 2 to 3 months if you dispute promptly, under FRB Reg. E or FCBA.
