Certified check that I was going to receive

A woman said she needed information about a certified check that I would be receiving,  told that I was not expecting anything and she has the wrong number and to not call again. I new when I saw the caller ID that it was a scam call it intuition. I will pray for the elderly this needs to stop!!! Do not believe anything over the phone. Business like this needs to be in writing or in person and then you still need to watch your back.
