I went to the new Zellers in Waterdown at the power center to pick up some Christmas lights and a necklace for my granddaughter. I waited for a long time for an associate to come to the jewelry counter. I finally had to go to the customer service desk to ask for help at the jewelry counter. She paged for an associate to go to the jewelry . I still waited for at least another 5-10 minutes and nobody. I was so annoyed I thought they don't realy want to make a sale that bad. So started to look for the Holiday decoration center . It was at the far back corner of the store. There were hardly any lights at all . By this time I was furious. I could not find an associate there either. It is like a ghost town in that store. I need to know why the Christmas things are at the furthest corner of the store. Come on it is Christmas season. Put the Christmas at the front of the store where customers can have easy axcess to the Christmas decorations I do believe you would sell far more Christmas poducts if they were front and centre. On my way out I walked by three associates in the isle arguing. How bad is that for the customer to witness It is obvious customers do not mean anything to the associates that work at Zellers. I was so disgusted I walked out of the store and did not spend a cent because of lack of customer service . I did go out of my way from Burlington to go to this ghost town of a Zellers It was a very unproductive shopping experience and very frustrating.I will never shop there again. If that store does not close down because of disregard for their customers I will be surprised. I hope to hear from you regarding this complaint. A very dissatisfied shopper. Regards Janet Mutch
