After 2 years and a major war Reds 24/7 gym (formerly Ballys) auto deducts a yearly renewal fee out of my
checking account!  Sent letter of cancellation years ago and they though we were still good buddies
I guess? Maybe the complaint to the Ohio attorney general  and the Better Business  Bureau didnt
make it clear enough where I stood with them. Nothing was resolved from either complaint, and Reds will never have a BBB rating due to the fact they have no moral compass The complaint hinged around their obsession to get everyone
on auto payment among other things. Stay away from these people, you will be sorry if you patronize them.

Ballys and other health clubs have a history of complaints of "accidentally failing to cancel", or even "reactivating" closed accounts.  The Texas Attorney General went after them several years ago, for sending threatening "delinquent notices" to ex-customers to "encourage" them to "voluntarily renew".

You cancelled, so their charge is fraudulent.

File a fraud dispute through your bank to get your money back, and have  your bank shut down your account to prevent futher charges.  Also file a fraud complaint with your state Attorney General to document the fraudulent charge on this "reactivated account", lest they claim "you agreed" to it.
