loveseat and recliner

I am a 77 year old widowed female who is on a limited income. I have always been frugal and haven’t had new furniture for many years.  I was very excited to have a new loveseat and recliner.  However, after the furniture was delivered I immediately noticed an odor and my eyes, nose and bronchial tubes began to burn.  I called Lansing Furniture the next morning but there wasn’t anyone there who could help me until Thursday.  When I did speak with management they tried to convince me it was just a new furniture smell. I haven’t received any satisfaction from them.  So now, I have furniture that is brand new that I can’t even sit on because it makes me sick.  Lansing Furniture won’t do anything.  It is obvious that customer service and satisfaction don’t mean anything to them.  I am wondering if it means anything to you and if you stand behind your furniture?
