WHAT MUST I DO TO GET FULL CANCELLATION?    5/12/12  CHECKED MY BANK STATEMANET
  AND FOUND A CHARGE PLACED.

    This "identity protection service" is sold combined with various Experian related credit monitoring services.

    Id thieves have discovered that Experian's security is weak, and they can buy people's credit reports through on-line sites using stolen credit card numbers.  When they do this through some sites, they end up signing up the credit card theft victim for Experian and "Identity hawk" monthley fees.

    Immediately contact your bank to dispute the charges as fraudulent, and close the account or block the card number to prevent additional fraud.

    If your bank only returns 2 months of charges, and you have more charges, contact Experian and Identity Hawk to demand refunds of the rest.

    Experian is aware of this security breach, and is reported to be offering full refunds.
    Even with that, lots of credit reports are floating around the id theft black market sites.
