Software never worked

I bought the "full version" after trying the Demo to recover damaged .pdf files received as email attachments.  I downloaded and installed it but all I have ever seen was the "demo" version which claims to recover only the first page of a .pdf file.  Now not even that works.  They show a phone number for technical support but it only has a recorded message asking to leave a message or send a fax.  They never return messages.  
I tried to get my money back but the bank wanted a lot of documentation that obviously never existed.
Conclusion: DON'T BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM DIGITAL RIVER, "SHARE-IT" OR ANY OF THEIR ASSOCIATED PHONY NAMES.
