On January 5, 2011 my bedroom set was delived by my delivery person. After opening the furniture boxes, delivery man stated to me that the furniture was damaaged. I immediately call Direct buy warehouse personnel Mike Reynolds(Supervisor). I was told by Mike to take a picture so he can send to the furniture store(Ashley furniture). I requested that I send the furniture back but was refused, bill stated that they had to wait until a response come back from Ashley furniture. On January 10, 2011, I called bill but spoke with a warehouse employee who stated to me that They cannot do anything about the damage furniture that I purchased from because I didi not use their delivery person. At that point, I was very angry and demad to speak to Bill(Warehouse supervisor) The worker came back to the phone told me that they will send someone out name Marco.
It has been more that six weeks since I received this damaged furniture from Direct Buy and each time I call I have been getting the run-around from the warehouse(Supervisor) to the Manager (Rich) who refused to accommodate me with this problem. They are attempting to force me to keep this damaged or used furniture. On Wednesday, February 16, 2011 I spoke with the Manager, Rich who promise to call me back but I have not heard from him. He wasn't very nice in the way he spoke to me. They have no intention of replacing this furniture which looks used.
Direct Buy is a scam, everything that they tell you at the new membership seminar is al1 false What they tell you about the so call saving is not true. After buying a membership for $4,900.00. I learned afterward that their cost is higher than the regular retaIl sales. WHAT A SCAM!!!! I was a flood victim that is why I purchased this membership, I had major damages and lost everything. I will continue to fight to get help for JUSTICE in this situation. OK by the way I was told that ILLINOIS is not going to help me meaning Attorney General and Chicago Consumer office and was laugh in my face. I guess that is why I did not get a call back.

lying to people ...what the manager don't know i was working for more than 10 years in a custom woodworking shop and i knew what they are doing was absolutely wrong...also there is really annoying people that don't understand we are you doing our job ...hey but if you buy a cheap pc of furniture you gonna have a cheap pc of furniture ....i recommend people to spend a lil extra and buy something that have better quality ...see it like a investment for the future make sure you don't have to buy the same pc of furniture in 2 or 3 years ....good luck guys and support small business..
