Illegal phone soliciting, and computer hacking!

I got a phone call the other day, answered it and listened to silence for 15 seconds or so. I was concerned because I have two teenage sons and older family members who might be calling in an emergency or for another "important" reason. It is very painful for me to answer the phones because of severe arthritis, and I also sleep at odd times because of same problem. These calls are bad enough on thier own, but now heres a new twist on telemarketers; "This company followed up thier phone call with a blatent in your face phone/computer hacking of my E-Mail! How do I know it was the same person? They left thier calling card! My local news was modified to show "Gabbs Nv."!!! AT&T refuses to do anything to help me with this problem! They wont even give me the company name who owns the caller number so that I can call the police or FBI to report this crime! I wasted almost an hour trying to find out the procedure on reporting this kind of crime, only to have a very snobbish manager basically tell me "too bad"!In the name of all that is still good in this world someone "HELP ME"
