My husband purchased a small life insurance policy from Sears Canada in June 1997 where we made payments through our Sears Credit card regularly.....NOW that Sears Credit is handled by "Scotiabank Mastercard" we received a statement from Scotiabank..in my husbands name..AND ALSO WERE BILLED ON MY VISA SCOTIALINE CARD..........HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO ACCESS MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION ??????? I followed up by calling CPLI 800 number and ended up at an off shore callcentre which could not help, also called Scotiabank which suggested only the CPLI would be able to help..........their direct line to Markham is always busy !!!!!!!  ( I need to cancel that policy if there even is one .
