I spoke to these people and there so called affiliate about this so called check/payday loan that is not mine.  This was rectified on 4/16 supposedly and they called again.  This was confirmed not mine when they relayed the b-day from 1949.

    You should contact the Nevada Department of Business and Industry Financial Institutions Division, as they may be operating illegally under Nevada law, in violation of a cease and desist order, as well as engaging in numerous reported violations of federal and state debt collection law.

    22 Jun 2009I have received several calls from a Joseph at FFG with a call back number of 1-866-443-6985 but the number 702-463-7934 shows up on caller ID. The reason given seems to be the same for all the calls this company makes which is “about a check you have written and needing to verify information for security purposes.” I have not called them back and have absolutely no intention of doing so.

    The company is Vegalo LLC dba Frontier Financial Group aka FFG Associates. As stated earlier by SmartDiva on 04/20/09, this company is illegally operating as a collection agency. The State of Nevada Department of Business and Industry Financial Institutions Division issued an order to cease and desist unlicensed activities on 04/02/09: http://www.fid.state.nv.us/Notices/2009/Vegalo_LLC.pdf

    I spoke with the above named division and was told to file a formal complaint against FFG. They also said if I do speak with someone at FFG, to remind them of the order issued against them. Perhaps the fine this company received isn’t enough to deter their behavior.     Based on the Nevada order, it may be illegal for them to contact you AT ALL regarding ANY debt collection issue.

    According to the NV Licensing Commission FFG has the proper licensing to Collect debts in this state and there for if a debt is owed and is in the office you bet they have the right to collect on it if its a valid debt the consumer owes.

    Maybe they do now, but it was pretty sloppy for them to keep operating while they didn't.  They also have numerous complaints of harassing calls to people who don't owe them.

    Regardless, if you have problems with them, contact Nevada Department of Business and Industry, Division of Financial Institutions.

    As for your own credibility, what exactly is this NV Licensing Commission?

    I see no evidence there even is any such state agency.  Why wouldn't you want people to contact tha actual Nevada agency responsible for licensing them?

    Police came to my job and gave me summons for my court date. Ffg is suing me in court because I didn't pay my bills. Any advice from anyone? Do I need to get a lawyer?

    Some people said they are a scam, but if they are a scam how can they still be in business after all these years and after all the complaints??? My court date is real. Someone please give advice. Thank you.
