Billing
Complaint

Country: United States
My cell phone bill went from $80 to $400 per month. Customer Service said they no longer offer the same plan that I had at $80. I filed a complaint with the FCC (Ref. # 10-6002-414-78)that AT&T didn't give me 30 days notice prior to a rate change (FCC Wireless Communication Rule Section 76.1603(b)). AT&T say they have not read the FCC Rule and they have not listened to the recorded calls I have made to Customer Service. Cindy Stewart (Office of the AT&T President--877-707-6220) called me on Aug. 5, 2010 and said I had to pay.
I am a 64 year old, disabiled man with one leg and live on $1200 a month.
I am trying to sale real estate (without success) and I can't concentrate on work with AT&T saying they will ruin my credit and turn me over to bill collectors.
The FCC says I need to file a formal complaint and consult a lawyer. I can't afford a lawyer!
Can anyone tell me how I can stop the AT&T foolishness?
