You need to block that card immediately, since once this type of scammer starts taking your money, they keep doing it until you make it no longer possible.

They appear to have hit people within the last week or 2 and not just in the US. I'm in Australia and got hit with a $US9.95 charge on my Visa card. Make sure you report it to your bank so they can investigate and prevent this company making charges to other people's accounts. It may not be a large amount of money but if they hit enough people they could be making a packet out of this.

The same thing happened to me... I purchased a service through a company called Google Profits on July 10th 2009 and rec'vd an email confirming my purchase. In that email, there were links to 3 different companies offering a free trail that would expire after 21 days and you would then be charged a monthly fee of $9.95 if not cancelled. This trail is only activated once you click on their link but I never did. I have a copy of the email and this is what it said:
"Network Agenda Membership Page - 21 Day Trial Member Login: http://www.networkagenda.com/ Click here to access your free trial Membership access is $9.95 per month should you choose to continue"
..but I never clicked on this link nor did I ever rec'v an email stating I'm starting a trial period after which I would be charged $9.95 monthly.
On Aug. 4th 2009 I noticed a pending charge of $9.95 from a company called officeagenda.com out of Las Vegas NV. I contact the company and spoke with a rep. there and I informed her I did not have any knowledge of her company or this mysterious charge I rec'vd. She told me I authorized this charge when I rec'vd the email from Google Profits.

I too was charged $9.95 for a virtual office. I do not have a need for a virtual office and wondered how they could get my information. I realized that because of a purchase I made for a FREE CD for Federal & Private Grants (naturally I had to pay for shipping), this company gained use of my card information fraudulently. I already filed a dispute with my bank for them to reverse the unauthorized charges.

I have also had my debit card accessed and $9.95 was taken out. I also have another withdrawl from USA of 11.25 plus currency charges equalling $13.35. These are all charges that have not been arthorised by my husband or myself. We are getting our Bank to investigate these transactions. There should be a phone number on the back of your card. I hope they can refund the money taken from our account, and stop further deductions beening taken. I am in New Zealand.
