as numerous others have posted. My wife got took on this deal.
She thought she aas getting a trial of coffee for like $20 or something.
They charged her bank accound around $180 in 1 week. We had to cancel her account and they attempted to keep charging the old accoutn per the bacnkeven after we cancelled
We returned the coffee after the first arrived. Did return to sender with the UPS guy.
They sent so much coffe it was crazy. We can't get anyone on the phone to discuss the money that should be returned.
Terrible company..if I lieved near them I would stop by and raise heck.

Dispute all unauthorized charges immediately through your bank, and close the account to prevent additional fraudulent charges. Your bank can reverse the charges, but only if you notify them immediately.
Then contact the Illinois Attorney General. There are reports that they are being investigated, due to high levels of similar complaints.

They continued to charge my account over $200 for unauthorized products, calls to them go to voicemail and when you finally get a hold of someone they promise to refund the money which was promised months ago and instead of a refund they charged my account $79.00 twice!! in addition to the $38.95 x 3 that they've promised to refund. They tell you they're processing a manual refund which should be credited back in 48 hrs, another person said a few hours. I've been waiting 4 months for a refund. I had to finally cancel my card to stop them. I will be contacting the BBB and the Attny Gen.
Do let the 60 day FCBA or FRB Reg. E dispute period expire depending only on refund promises they are likely not to follow through on.
Dispute the new fraudulent charges with your bank, and close the account due to fraud to prevent additional fraudulent charges. Numerous consumers have reported that this company has resumed charging their accounts months after they had cancelled.

I call back today and the 800# works, but you directed to a voice mail box, with no way out. The other number is now being directed to a different company (Peel, Inc.) and they never pick up there phone. I tried the receptionist option, but then directed to a voice mail box.
Also, wanted to note they "reactivated" my account and sent me coffee under another company name "Cafe Saporito". Forget trying to get your money back from them either. They are located at the same location, phone # is different, but I have read other boards, same result - You won't get your money back.
Talk about a scam, 3 months and counting on my refund. I read others are up to a year and a half and still waiting.
Naturally, knowing it was a fraudulent charge, I called the "888" phone to let them know what they can do with their charge - got answering machine with "All associates are busy leave your phone number and someone will get right back with you". Went online "Rippoff Report" and found at least six other toll free numbers, and associated coffee outlets tied to the $79.00 scam. Makes no difference which of those numbers you call (each of which seems to be another coffee service using "shopcoffeedirect") you get the same response.
Report the "FRAUD" to your CC company and cancel the card - as stated, you'll get a new one within a week.
I didn't know this was Seattle Coffee Direct, 'til I received a package with one bag of coffee and a cheap mug. The package had a slip inside (no copy of an order form) that said "If you have questions about your order, call 1-888-217-CAFE". One of the mystery numbers - GO FIGURE. Whatcha think the chances are I'll return the shipment, Or, bother calling??
I wonder why Credit Card companies are continuing to offer them credit services. This type of fraud is apparently wide spread, and as a credit card customer, I think there should be a way for credit card companies to put a stop to the abuse before it gets out of hand. Reading other complaints about this type of fraud, how safe are we really? Is this just an opportunity for credit card companies to sell "Fraud Protection Insurance" . Doesn't seem like they're doing much to prevent it in the first place. How many complaints must be launched before they consider the percentage high enough to do something about it?
It hade been over two months, I still did not receive my money.
Your companies have a problem with your system and I am paying for your mistake.
Please someone, tell me straight up front, are you going to refund the money or not?
I been calling and you guys say you will refund my money back into my account. Now two months later you say that you will mail the check out to me, but when I ask when no one response, if you mail the check on the 13 per your E-mail. I should got the check by now, it only take three days to delivery mail in US.
I need an answer.

If you lost money due to unauthorized charges, file a complaint with the Illinois Attorney General, but still make sure you dispute any charges through your bank immediately, since if the company turns out to be insolvent, bank disputes within 60 days may still push the loss back on this company's payment processor and retrieve your money.
