We received a quote from Giant Carpet Care to clean our carpets for $65. They came out to clean our carpets and charged us $139. They also did a horrible job. When I called to complain, the representative was very and ultimately hung up on me. His closing words: "Your god and my god are not the same." I'm not sure what he meant by that, but it was obviously very offensive. We got ripped off and insulted in what was expected to be one simple transaction.

    I called Giant after reading Clipper Magazine.  They were offering a special for $45 for five rooms + shampoo and other chemical cost.  The guy arrived and quoted me $170.  I didn't agree and we negotiated a new price of $120.  I thought that was fair.  The guy then told me- Sorry I can't do it now...I need to wait for a second guy to come and we will be back at 12pm.  Well 12pm came and went and they arrived at 3pm.  They then told me they didn't have the right steam cleaner b/c they were not allowed by my condo assoc. to hang a hose over the balcony. (This was insane b/c I told them about this before I ordered the service- they don't pay attention to details such as this)  He promised to return in an hour with the proper equiment.  5pm came and I called to reschedule for the next day because my association doesn't allow service after 5pm.  He said no problem- 1pm tomorrow is okay.  1pm came and I called to see if they were coming- he said the guy is on his way.  I will call him and call you back in 5 minutes.  A half hour later I called to see why he didn't call.  He answered and abruptly told me he did not want to do business with me and hung up.  So for two days I stayed at home waiting for them and I get the cold shoulder and no carpets cleaned.

    I am glad they are so busy they can choose what clients they want.  I finally went with Stanley Steamer who only charged me $105 for the same service.

    Yes. I agree. Guy was cheap on behaviour/ attitude and workmanship.. just Horrible..

    I have had a terrible experience with this company. They have 16 complaints with BBB and have not responded to any of them. I feel I am entitled to a refund for the horrible work they did on our tile and grout in our shower. I want to take them to small claims court. If anyone else wants to join in the suit, feel free to join me.
