This is still going strong as we just received this "offer" in a very official looking mailer that is made to look like a check. Even has the perforated side to encourage you to open it b/c it might be a check! My google search led me here to see there were plenty of others who had received similar offers.

Yes, I just received a notice on 11/20/17. It looks so official, not like a scam at all. BUT, I called the phone number to redeem my prize and the phone number is out of service! I’m so glad to learn that this is a scam! Unbelievable!!

I have also received this piece of mail. It has a check made out to "Android (tm) Touchpad Tablet & Visa Card" for $199.99. It even advises that it needs to have a black background and a watermark to negotiate, but right under that it says "Non-Negotiable". On the check it says certain restrictions apply, one of them is "past visitors are ineligible", which makes me think of a timeshare presentation type of gift. I have tossed it, without calling, as I don't want them to have my phone number to see as "active".

I just received one yesterday and google up for the info about the "Android (tm) Touchpad Tablet & Visa Card" for $199.99. Voila, it is a scheme, I don't even call the number, the mail goes straight to the trash bin.

I got one of these notices yesterday. I google this morning to see if this is legit and apparently it is not. Thanks everyone for your comments to verify the scam. I'm letting my family know to shred this document.

It's very likely that you need to sit through a sales pitch for a timeshare to claim your "prizes."

I got on 11/10/2020 offering an android tablet and $50 Amazon gift certificate. This is despicable and should be against the law to scam through the mail, right? Not everyone recognizes a scam, especially during a time when people are in need.

Just received my scam postcard today, Feb 8 2021.  It has the Pennsylvania Ave  address listed with a Sacramento,  California postage ink stamp on it.
