This company charged me for $69.90, and I have never even heard of it. I went to my bank to dispute the charge, but it is still pending and I have to wait until it has posted to my account. A few days ago I purchased "My Internet Payday" to learn how to earn extra money by posting ads to Google. I don't know if that has any connection with this fraudulent charge.

Check the status of your checking account daily, and beware of companies like Drireg.net

It may.  "dri*reg.net" is a payment processor known as "Digital River" that handles charging consumer credit card and checking accounts for a number of on-line retailers.  There are many reports of unauthorized charges showing up under their name, so it does not appear that they look too closely at the "business practices" of their clients.

$69.90 is a common amound reported to be associated with "internet business" or "government grant" scams.  These are commonly reported to have some teaser offer for a couple dollars "shipping and handling" as an excuse to get your account information, followed by larger charges in the range of $30 to $300 reported later.  They often do not disclose clearly that the larger charges will be made, if you accept the "free trial".

Immediately contact your bank to dispute all fraudulent or unauthorized charges, and close that account to prevent future such charges.  Follow up with a written dispute, sent to the dispute address on your statement, making sure your bank receives it in less than 60 days from the statement date to preserve your federal FRB Reg. E or FCBA dispute rights.

In the future, ignore all "teaser" offers.  The world is full of liars and cheats, and they are not going to teach you how to "make money from the Internet" unless you want to become one of them.

Thanks a lot for this! As much as I do not believe any of the internet offers, I still got myself in trouble. Thinking Google offer should be safe... What a joke! I got two amounts of $69.90 (again!) taken out of my account in one month and immediately thought this is fraud! Thanks to your message I found out what it was...

The bank has been very understanding, crediting the amounts back to my account. I just had to cancel my card.

Now I know not to trust ANY offers what so ever on the internet! Good luck to all those who made the same mistake.
