Dear Europcar
I am forwarding on a complaint letter filed with your MD and am furious by the handling of customers and treatment of them.
I never wish to had any charge or dealings from your firm in future. This has created unnecessary stress and hardship for my family.  Cancel all spurious charges including Admin never communicated and hope nobody in future ever has to face what I have gone through with your firm. See below letter inserted for your review on this and all my outstanding cases till date.
Your staff also would not put me through to a supervisor/manager to resolve these matters in a positive way as find this behaviour unacceptable treatment and frankly disgusting on Europcars part.

Prashant

Dear Ken,

I am an extremely disappointed customer of Europcar and bring the two case numbers 00238592 and 00243528 to our attention. The extent at which your firm tries to extort and pressure its customers out of money after charging rental is unacceptable and inappropriate behaviour. Wear and tear and cleaning are facts of life, not opportunities to try and rip off your customers who are already paying high sums of money for long term rentals.

My wife works for the NHS and will also be proactively discouraging others in her NE Trust to not use Europcar in future, and I represent a $300m Offshore company with global offices who I will also proactively discourage never to use your firm and to warn others of your treatment of its customers. With staff of 100+ in Europe my travel desk will never use Europcar to fulfill its bookings as previously done.

I am disgusted by your firm's shameful behaviour towards its customers, blatant attempts to extract more revenue unjustifiably, and hope that your practices are stopped by the trade authorities as once these cases are addressed. No customer should have to go through this and you will find numerous cases of this nature in your records, as well as on Tripadvisor and posted across social media and customer forums. I would ask that your firm investigate these and not act in this way in future.

I am returning my vehicle tomorrow and don't wish this experience upon anyone in future. I hope for your firm's sake that when these cases are surfaced to the media and authorities, and compensation action is enforced against Europcar for its victims in future, that the courts are more sympathetic than you have been towards your customers.

Thank you for your attention.

Prashant
