I am in agreement with Michelle.  We have a Maytag 2000 and have had to have the repair man here twice within a year.  Now that the machine is over a year we are starting to get the error codes.  I do not understand why Maytag will not honor helping people who pay a lot of money for their appliance and have nothing but problems.  I will never personally buy a front load machine or will I ever buy a Maytag.  I have seen several people happy for many years with their top loader and another company.  You know Maytag had a commercial once that said their repairmen never have anything to do.  I would say that is because they don't stand behind their product.  Only do they stand behind it if it will make them money on the repairs
