I had a maytag gas dryer with a front load lint screen catch fire while my family was at work and school (thank God!!). January 23rd 2014, my house was declared a total gut and My family lost everything. Our family cat died in the fire and the family dog was blinded and cost over 6500 in vet bills.
I called maytag about the dryer and was called back by a representitive from the company. Her reply was rather astounding, at first she commented that I should have insurance that covers the loss and that my insurance company should contact them for any further correspodence. When I asked her about the loss
that was suffered because of the dryer she replied that. Maybe I should retain a lawyer she could do nothing further. Truly astounded that such a large company has little concern for the people that purchase there products and are left with catastroph because of them. Really sad customer service!!!!
