I was talked into purchasing a vacation package on 1/5/2016 by Robert Hamilton, a Manager at Monster Reservations Group. I was to pay $398 which supposedly bought me a free 3 night, 4 day stay in Branson to attend a sales pitch for the buy-in...no obligation to buy. I was also to receive a 7 day cruise, that I could use within 1 year of attending the sales pitch, whether I purchased or not. I never received the email I was supposed to get with the confirmation number, nor the package I was to receive in the mail with all of the materials, so I called the customer service number that was given to me to contact Spinnaker Resort in Branson (877-301-7829). They couldn't find me in their system anywhere. They said to wait another couple of days because sometimes it takes a few days, so I did. Called back. Still not found anywhere in the system. So, I went online and tracked down Monster Vacations Group (they never gave me their direct number to call). I spoke with a man there, who of course, apologized and stated that he could see my information and assured me that the materials would be resent and the email would be resent. Another week passed, still no materials. I called a 3 time with the same assurance. I still have no email confirmation, no materials in the mail and the resort in Branson still has no record of my existence. My credit card, of course, was charged the very day I was pitched on the phone. I KNOW BETTER! WHAT WAS I THINKING? I NEVER BUY ON THE PHONE, ESPECIALLY THINGS LIKE THIS. IF IT'S TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE......... JUST SAY NO!

I received a robo call on March 27 about a vacation package. I had to take a survey of about three questions, (my objective is to waste as much time of theirs as I can) after the survey I was connected to Bailey she said congratulations for being selected for the free vacation. She then asked and I answered a few questions such as if I was over 23 years old and if I had income. I answered yes. I let her talk for quite a while. She said she was with MRG and then he asked me what vacation package I would like. I said “Is that MRG Promotions?” She said it was MRG which stands for Monster Reservations Group. I ask if she could give me a telephone number that I could call them at. She said she could not. I said that was because they were making Illegal robo calls. She argued that the calls were not illegal and I disagreed and she hung up. I kept them busy for 9 minutes!
I looked up Monster Reservations Group on line and called them at 844-648-2229. A guy answered I told him I had just received a robo call from some people that claimed they were with MRG. He did not seem to know what a robo call was but offered to forward my number to their sales department to be put on their do not call list. I said yes please and have them explain to you what a robo call is. I then said if you call me again I will call you again.
