Same problems with our Maytag washer. We have only had it 2yrs now and nothing but problems. The bearings and computer board are the issues. Do not buy the extended warranty because they told us they were refunding the warranty because the cost to fix the washer was more. We have a broken washer now that we are still making payments on that can't be fixed. This should be illegal to do this to people when they know there are problems with these.

Don't bother..they will not do anything for you and will not refund your money. We have a broken washer after only 14 months and the only thing they will do is "pro rate" one year which leaves us having to pay $398 plus $175 shipping for them to replace our washer. That means we would pay that on top of the $550 we originally spent 14 months ago. Maytag is making a lot of money off of screwing customers and we will never buy another Maytag applieance again. I am spending every spare moment I have writing reviews at as many places as possible to help spread the word so more people don't get in our situation
