506 Area Code Calls No One There

I have for the last 3 weeks received 2-5 calls per day from numbers with 506 area codes.  Also receving many calls per day with no called ID.  I have checked these 506 numbers on reverse look up and they are all cell phones from Rogers Wireless in Canada and there is no one on the line when I do answer and calling the number back it states "not in service".  The calls come beginning around 5:30PM and continue on until later in the evening.  Also calls come on weekends as well.  I have blocked these numbers and continue to do so as they appear on called ID but each day the numbers are different.  It is constant and annoying and I would like to hear from ANYONE with these problems.  I am wondering what I must do to make this stop.  I AM ON DO NOT CALL LIST.  Thanks to anyone who responds.

    this is happening to me also.....I don't pick up and I'm not about to call back.....I don't know what to do to get them to stop.....just ignore.....glad to have caller I.D. this way I know who is calling or at least from where they are calling.....

    I too am getting dozens of calls from the 506 area code on both of my DNC registered numbers. Like many of you, I have asked them to stop calling and they hang up. It appears that the actual boiler rooms are in Florida and are using a Canadian location for their phone dialer technology to escape DNC prosecution. I have complained to the FTC on their DNC site, but typical of government agencies, they have no sense of urgency. I did notice that they recently fined Comcast $1 million for minor telemarketing complaints, but can't seem to stop these annoying robo calls that seem to be impacy millions of Americans. I think I will try calling my local Congressman everytime I receive one of these calls.
