International call from Costa Rica, I'm located in the U.S. Recording that stated they can lower your credit card debt by pressing #1 or #2. I hung up.

Have received a call from "the credit card company" at a similar number: 5-062-278-8071. Apparently this call is also a Costa Rican scam.
We can block such calls, but the company will come up with more numbers. We've also received a similar "5-062" call about "your car warranty."
These are phishing calls. Totally fraudulent.

I rec'd a scam call from 5-062-222-6693 about lowering my credit card bill. I hung up because I've had these calls before and realize that they are a scam. It is disturbing because I am on the do-not-call registry. How can we get the FTC to do something about these calls?

Same here.. the number on my caller ID was 5-062-256-5231,.. "we've been trying to reach you about your credit card"
I let it go till the answering machine picks up,.. and they hang up.
