I booked a flight from Miami to Quito, Ecuador on February 14th, 2011, for travel late in June. This company has been a nightmare to work with. They do not return my phone calls, their support lines are busy or nonfunctioning, the online chat has not worked, and my emails have gone unanswered. They have made 3 changes to my itinerary since I booked, the last change taking me into Quito at 11 p.m. at night (From a respectable 6:50 p.m.). This is all before I even leave!
Bottom line: If you don't care about customer service, losing money, or having the ability to communicate with your travel agency, use CheapOAir. This has scam written all over it.

Just got off the phone with CheapOAir.
Things I gleaned from our conversation.
1. It's my fault for using CheapOAir to book a flight.
2. CheapOAir doesn't feel like they're responsible for having a person who booked on their website months in advance reach their destination in a timely manner.
3. If I want a refund, it will take 1-2 billing cycles to process (and no, I won't recover any personal losses even though ticket prices are more than DOUBLE what I originally paid).
Do NOT book with CheapoAir.
