I was a good customer of dish for a year or so. I had my account on autopsy with my AMEX card. I received a call from AMEX in April stating my card was compromised and I would receive a new one. AMEX went through the charges with me and found Dish double billed me for the month. They told me to pay it and would do an inquiry with Dih. The next month I see on my online account that I received credit for their double billing. No explanation. Roll forward three months to July. AMEX never received response from Dish so they reversed the charges. Dish immediately shut down my service. I contact them and spend four hours going through the story with them AND AMEX. No problem I say, just charge me back even though they couldn't tell me why I was double billed in the first place. Well guess what they will no longer accept a credit card from me and now they want access to my bank account and I will have to prepay service and pay cancellation charges. Escalate this all the way up to executive resolution team. What a joke. They all read from the same script.
I hope someone puts together a class action lawsuits...I am in. Other insult to injury they immediately send me boxes so I had to ship back equipment and then the crooks bill me for 200 bucks for cancellation. Unbelievable
