They are running a cramming scam.
Immediately contact your bank (Amex) to dispute the charges as fraudulent, and have your bank shut down your account or block your card number to prevent further fraud and theft. Your bank can reverse charges back 2 to 3 months if you dispute promptly, under FRB Reg. E or FCBA.
