Burnt out

I am tired of purchasing vaccuum's, I have 2 dogs that shed alot and I bought your purpose pet vaccuum, worked great for awhile then the rubber piece for the hand vac broke off and now it has burnt out, I only had the vaccuum for a little over a year. I am looking for a vaccuum that will work as well as the first day of using it, I have replaced the belt just after a week of using it. I will think twice of buying a dirt devil again unless I am convinced that it will keep working for at least a few years. I am really thinking of buying a Dyson but it is so expensive but if you think of all the money I have spent in vaccuum's it sounds like it would be worth it.
I really like your product and the price but it doesn't last long at all.
