This washer is absolutely horrible! We have had this for a year and a half, and it has been nothing but problems. We have paid twice now to have repair men inspect this washer. We had the boot replaced, and now all of our clothes are getting ripped. My son is three years old, and his favorite T-shirt, which was bought in Disney World, was ripped and ruined from this washer. He was so upset and cried for two days, and this shirt can not be replaced. Not to mention the other clothes that have been ruined because of this washer. I do not have the money to continue replacing articles of clothing, or buy a new wash. This one is not even paid off yet! Other companies have recognized this problems and have remedied the problems; however, this company has refused to do so. Therefore, unless something is done, I am reporting this to consumer reports, and also contacting the media regarding this rip off! How can you do this to families, and have no regard for inconveniences, loss of money? I can even believe that this washer is still being sold with the continuous problems that it has. I am appalled by Whirlpool, and will never again purchase any product by them. It is hard enough for families in today economy to make ends meet, I should not have to worry about this problems, especially when Whirlpool is well aware of the problems, and will not fix it for customers.
