I had a customer file a dispute against my business and I have no idea why.
The products that they custom ordered from my business arrived via fedex on october 14th. $434.00 was stripped from my bank account on November 28th with no explanation as to why the dispute was filed. My customer, Mary Ann Guinn and her husband of Greensboro, NC have not returned any attempts to contact them regarding the dispute. My hand-crafted textile accessories that I spent hours of my valuable time creating in custom sizes for the Guinn's were not returned to me and I was never notified by the client of any disappointment. I believe that they may have been stolen by the Guinn's, but I cannot get any information regarding the dispute from squareup. I have done thousands of dollars of business with squareup and have always had trouble with their customer service, but this is appalling! They should be standing up for me (since I immediately sent them a copy of proof of delivery by fedex) and they should be communicating with me better before I call the police dept of Greensboro and file charges against them for theft. Bad communication creates bad business and these people probably don't want the police knocking on their door any more than I do, but I cannot even get a response from squareup...and yes it has been well over 24 hrs, and in fact more than once, it took them over a week along with a second email to respond. They are supporting criminals instead of the small business owner (me) who has been giving them business. NSG!!
