My husband and I joined Scoresense May 5, 2012 and I read over everything I thought completely as possible, but come to find out under the terms dis-closer they have the 7 day rule on cancellations. We did not receive not one early notice that they were going to debit our cards until I check my account and found out they had taken $29.95 out of my account and $29.95 out of my husband  when this was determined I then contacted customer service and they were just nasty. I going to file a former complaint with the BBB and whom ever else will listen to me. This is fraudulent company and the need to be exposed for what they are worth. The company should have the 7 day cancellations on the very first page where it would be disable to the customers and not hidden away.

I Also was charged 19.99 after I canceled the first day. I just wanted to check my scores one time . Then I found out they never canceled me, when charges came through my bank. This is a scam Don't  sign up for anything with this company  you will regret it.....

5/26/2012 I also was scam for 29.95 from Score Sense.  I thought that I could check my credit score for free; instead, I got a credit report.  When I  attempted to get my score, they asked me for my credit account number;t I refused to give my account number, and I did not get my credit score; I still was charged the 29.95.  I never joined Score Sense.

I also looked at this and noticed that it was a credit check report, and was charged 1.00 on my credit card, but then decided not to accept the terms and cancelled, thinking that I wouldn't be charged because I didn't join; so I'm checking my acct. bal. and 29.95 was charged to my card.  Not happy at all. And I also never joined, just like S.M.A and Up Set we were set up.  Will also file with the BBB.  With the economy these days, this scam artist, needs to be exposed.

I joined this site to find out my credit score as a quick reference. I joined the 26th of June and attempted to cancel my service online that day with no such luck...wouldnt "go through". So I called the following day, the 27th of June and spoke to someone to cancel. They tried and tried to get me to stay with their service for a lower monthly fee and I told them I was all set and just wanted to check my score once. They supposedly cancelled my service and everything was set if I "wanted to come back". Never gave it a second thought until today, July 3rd I look at my bank account online and see a charge of $29.95 from this company. Shocked and extremely aggravated I call Scoresense AGAIN to find out why it wasnt cancelled when I called on the 27th. The woman I spoke to today had no idea why that would have happened. Had I not cancelled it would have been on me, however this service was supposed to be cancelled and the job was not done on their end. So my service is now cancelled, as of today and apparently I "shouldnt be charged again" although I am still out $29.95 due to someone elses mistake. I guess I should have checked these reviews first. Lesson learned!

The pattern reported by everyone else here happened to me as well. Signed up on June 29 to get a free report per the 7 day offer they published, cancelled the next day via phone and was told I would not be charged. Then, I my account gets charged $29.95 today on July 8! I called and raised hell with the trained liar on the line, threatening legal action via my bank, my attorney and the BBB and she had the audacity to tell me I called on June 30 and told them I wanted to CONTINUE the service! I told her she was lying and not very good at it. She finally relented and said I would not be charged again and that I would receive a refund by this Wed, July 11. We'll see. Still going to follow through with my bank on this one! These guys are crooks!

Yes. The same thing happened to me.  I got my report and when I noticed their fee was twice what other companies charge, I immediately cancelled.  When I saw they had taken out $29.95 out of my checking account, I called them again.  They said that I did not cancel before the 7 day trial period ended, but I had called the very next day.  They still charged my account and refused to reimburse my money.  They told me on the phone they would do so, but I received an email the next day stating that after reconsideration, they didn't think I deserved a refund because I had gone past the time limit.  It was at the particular time, but not when I first called them.  They are crooks and suppose to be someone you rely on to protect your credit when they themselves are thieves!!!

the people who own score sense should use the money they steal from us for doctors . i hope they get cancer and after paying the medical bills they die anyway. if you work for score sense and you know you are ripping off people i hope you also die . i did not even know i joined score sense and i was on a honest site called quizzle, when when a popup made me think i had to pay a dollar to join quizzle.i called quizzle and they told me they never charge for the service. after checking my checking account i find they were deducting 19.95 a month. for score sense.

Wish I had seen these posts before this happened to me.  I did okay it, then cancelled, then found that I'd been charged 29.95 in June.  So rather than get upset (I'm 85 with a heart condition), and thinking the 29.95 was for a year, I let it go that month.  In July another 29.95 was taken from my checking account.  I discovered that today, 8/9, so called to cancel....was given the same hard sell, all the way down to 3.90/month.  I kept saying no, just cancel it.  Then was offered a free month.  I repeated no, just cancel.  I asked for an email confirmation of the cancellation, and so far have not received one.  I will now watch this carefully to be sure that it really was cancelled and that I'm not charged again in August.  Can one believe them that it's cancelled?  Surely something can be done about this scam.

I just saw a charge on my electronic bank account which I check each and every day....first an unauthorized charge for $29.95 was posted because I was 3 hours late in cancelling their trial service within their 7-day time period...then again I was charged erroneously another $19.95 for something else I did not order, nor did I have any knowledge of.  When I called their operation, Jason said that $19.95 had not even shown up on his screen and he had no idea what it was for.  It's called scamming the public.  Of course now I will have to spend MY time fixing THEIR scam.  I will not let this slip thru the cracks, and I WILL get my money back!   [***].

I, too, didn't read the 'fine print' on this company.  I charged the FREE report and did receive the credit scores. But I was charged the next two months.  I called the B of AM dispute # and was told this is perfectly legal, as I didn't read all the stipulations, and ok'd the sign-up.  I was told there are two ways to stop this: 1. cancell the card: 2. notify B of Am of my cancellation date to the company, and if SCORESENSE trys to charge another month B of AM will dispute the charge. I don't understand how this company is allowed to operate.  They sure have great lawyers to draft such a dishonest websight and neither the credit card companies nor BBB can force them to return the $.  LET THE BUYER BEWARE!  The law protects the thief.
