I received a call from JetDirectfunding. they sounded legit and I decided I would work with them. Once they had important information from me, the main contact email no longer worked or would anyone answer the phone or return calls. here is then name of the person. I strongly caution anyone from dealing with this company in the future!

Any time you are considering using any service requiring an up-front payment, check out the company. In many states, loan modification companies are required to be licensed, or may not be allowed to accept un-front payments until services are performed. They may be required to be licensed to do business in a state even when they are located in a different state. Some states allow exceptions for attorneys, in which case you can check out the attorney's licensing with the state bar association.
Check with your state Attorney General for the laws that apply to your state. Alternatively, you might consider locally based non-profit mortgage or credit counceling organizations, or local licensed attorneys for advice.
Thank you so much for your insightful postings! Although I did not know the name of the company, I’d seen an ad on TV for Mortgage help—contending that new government programs were offering incentives for lenders to work with homeowners in trouble. I called them and spoke with someone named Anna. However, before sending them personal information as requested, I googled the company name to see what others were saying about it. For the past 2 days, I had been considering working with Jet Direct to obtain a principal reduction, whose rep mentioned that they were HUD affiliated. However, I cannot find their listing if they are. I certainly was not aware of up front fees, which at this time, I couldn't pay anyway. But I became a little suspicious as well when I saw the clusters of responses that were so glowing and positive, and all about the same representative, all on the same day. I am going the way of HUD approved agencies that my lender has listed on its website. Thank you for your postings. You have helped at least one person save money and avoided what may have been a disaster. Thanks guys! Keep posting.
Should I be afraid?
