Harrassing/Threating Phone Calls

Complaint

Country: United States
Called using Atlanta code 404-phone numbers (because my area code begins with 404). A Marshal Wilcox left voicemail about filing some final statement on client's behalf and I should call back before 5pm today! He left his direct number as 855-528-8454. His voicemail was very stern and urgent. Clearly he is not getting any call back from me. I owe no one.

I keep getting  calls from this so called  marshall wilcox for the last month or two saying that he is going to file paperwork if I don't call him back by 5pm. Well he's been saying that for the last month. They never say who they are looking for,  so why call back. File the dam paperwork so the calls can stop.

Same thing here. Talk about filing a 1099c which makes no sense. Wish I could find out where these nimrods operate from. Would love to pay them a "Louisville Slugger Visit."

I got same call. Same voice. Only today he said his name was Jason. He said he was going to file a 1099c on my tax return. Does anyone know if this is real or not?

I got the same message today...called and asked for physical address to verify this so called debt.  They were very rude and hung up.  SO I proceeded to call and and hang up on them several times.  Got a call back asking why I keep calling and hanging up...I said stop calling my phone and my mothers and I will stop calling you.  Second scam this week.  People BEWARE...if they cannot send validation...BIG RED FLAG! Never send money to a company cuz they say you owe without validation of proof.

      stop the scammers
I have received the same exact call from 1-855-616-1608. I didn't answer the phone when they call six times straight in a row, so they left this message.    After I did not call them back in 2 days, Who ever it is also call my sister twice, and my ex husband 4 times.  They also have a very intimidating voice, and extremely rude.  I did  call them back, only out of curiosity,  The name who answered the phone was Jeff Perkins.  He mentioned  he wanted information off the letter I received something about a letter, told him I never received  a letter, and received a call/message from that phone number.  He told me that was impossible since they do not make any outbound calls.  He wanted my case number, did not have that information on me at the time, up did inform him that under no circumstances will I be verifying any information and to stop calling my sister or ex husband.  Been a few days and haven't heard from them anymore.  Hopefully they have stopped.

      Told him off
They called me and after I hung up on them twice called my mom which I answered and as soon as they heard my voice hung up. I called back and told them I knew what they were doing and to stop harassing us. He was rude as per everyone else who has written on here. I told him if he didn't stop harassing us we'd go to the police. He started yelling told me the same company name, when I asked him if I'd be able to find a business website, he told me the internet was all lies. I hung up. He got defensive for a reason - pure fear that I was calling him out on his BS

      Got the same call today
I received the same call today with the message left on my voice mail just like the one "Stop the Scammers" received.  What is it these people want and is the actually a scam?

Got him to hang up one me
As long as you say "what is this regarding" after he asks you his question, he'll eventually get frustrated and hang up.

      Don't mess with Texans
I got the same message as "Stop the Scammers" received. I called the number left for me and reference number. He sounded like a mad bulldog or in Texas a 'Mean Rattlesnake'! The phone got scratchy, it really did, and I asked him to repeat his questions or what he wanted, because I couldn't understand.
He hung up on me, too.
I blocked the number as I always do numbers I don't recognize!
