I would like to express my dammed [***] frustration on COMPEX, Nung binili ko ung item ung mga nauna ko ng tiningnan ay puro defective. The last option I had is that MP4 player, akala ko ayus na… napahiya pa ako dahil dami pinakita sa akin, puro sira naman… pinangakuan ako ng sales man ng COMPEX na may warranty naman tapos ngayon pinahihirapan ako…



San ba nila akala pinupulot ang pera, wala silang pakialam sa mga nag rereklamo sa kanila. Ilang buwan na akong nagrereklamo hangang ngayon wala pa rin akong feedback na natatanggap mula sa kanila, pag tumatawag ako lagi pinipilit na ni repair. SANA MAKARMA KAYO…. Walang ginagawang aksyon ang COMPEX.



Basta mabenta nyo lang kahit sira, ipipilit nyo tapos pag inabutan sa buyer, sasabihin nyo for REPAIR.. sobra talaga kayo.. wala kayong pakealam…



Sana naman hindi dumating sa point na IDEMANDA KO NA KAYO…

Mam sana matulungan mo ako, talaga dito.. hindi na pera usapan dito... letseng COMPEX yan.. wala man lang akong natatangap na feedback kahit from head office... Hangang ngayon hindi pa rin nila ako binibigyan maayos na sagot.. tagal tagal ko na nirereklamo...

Hope you can give direct person kung saan ako pwede mag reklamo... Sobrang busy po talaga ako, at gusto ko ng IDEMANDA yang COMPEX na yan...

Hope you understand mam na hindi ako makapag asikaso to visit DTI LEGAL OFFICE... FYI po nag aaral ako at nag tratrabaho and I really hope to get any kind of assistance from you guys.. I really pissed off... PINAGSISIHAN KO PO na bumili pa ako sa COMPEX... at pinapangako ko po na hindi na ako bibili ng kahit anong mang item sa COMPEX any BRANCH... kahit i post ko sa lahat ng IT FORUM para lang bigyan babala ang mga prospect buyer ng companyang COMPEX... Mam sana ma priority mo po ako.. I am going to submit lahat ng documents para lang makuha ko RIGHTS ko sa COMPEX na ito...

I know po 2,600 pesos is barya lang pero sa ginawa ng COMPEX im really dissapointed...

Good afternoon.

As discuss over-the-phone. The Manger of North Edsa Compex branch already offered repair, i did not sign any documents approving repair of the item. the mp4 was found defective 1-3 days only, i did not been able so return the item due to busy work and i still not familiar with the application of the mp4. when i confirmed that the item was really defective i returned to COMPEX to ask assistance after 8 days of purchase. Attach herewith the history of my complaint.

I would like to ask assistance on REFUND/REPLACEMENT of the ITEM.

Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

Hi Madel,

Good evening.

Sis, pa assist naman ako dito sa complaint ko sa COMPEX North Edsa, may binili akong item sa kanila MP4. ayaw replacement pero under warranty. Nung una inayos na daw ung speaker then a few days claiming na pinalitan ung buon board, pero hindi ung casing, claming na gasgas na ung housing eh samantalang ilang araw pa lang un sa akin wala pa one (1) week sira na ung speaker.

Ask naman akong assistance i already email manager of COMPEX and Head Office, ayaw palitan or refund ung item. Eh medyo nakaka offend dahil ako pa ung kailangan mag follow up sa kanila, hindi man lang ako binibigyan feedback.. tapos nag email na rin ako sa DTI pero wala pa din akong assistance na nakukuha.

2,600 lang naman ung item kaya lang ung rights ko medyo hindi ko nakukuha sa kanila.

Good afternoon.

I would like to formally complain to the Compex Manager Ms. Luningning Enero and the HEAD office sales office. I am complaining this matter for more than a month and i did not get any assistance on all email recipient below. I already email compex branch email address and asking for their reply to document my concern but i never receive any replied. All transaction was only conversation via phone.

As discuss over the phone with the manager Ms. Luningning. They cannot give me a refund, what they can only do is to replace mechanism of the item which consider repair and not replacement of the item itself.

I am asking for immediate assistance on this matter. I am really disappointed on the service i am receiving from them.
Hoping to immediate assistance on this matter. Your feedback will be highly appreciated.

May I verify what is your procedure on handling may concern, I buyed Grandvision found out defective for less than a week after the date purchase. Asking your full replacement or refund. I am asking replacement of full ITEM, excluding accessories due to i do not want you to open the grandvision mp4 board. My Item was under warranty. I am not asking a full amount of refund if will not have a replacement.

FYI: Ayoko na pinalitan lang ung lahat ng laman ng mp4 tapos ung casing is ganun parin... I am asking you to gave kahit 2,000.00 pesos lang from 2,600.00 na binayaran ko dahil hindi ako satisfied sa service na binibigay ninyo... Hope your kind reconcideration on this matter.

I am John Ian R. Medilo, working on a customer oriented company who give importance to a customer rights and good service.

I write this letter to ask assistance on getting my rights as a consumer who is asking for a immediate replacement / refund on the ITEM Grandvision M652/6B MP4. I purchase the MP4 player last Oct 20, 2007 with Sales Invoice No. 93279 at COMPEX CYBERZONE EDSA, INC. SMNE, 198 SM City, North Ave. cor amounting to TWO THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED PESOS (P2,600.00).  I been able to use the ITEM for several days then the item speaker had a grounding problem which make the ITEM unusable to my part.

I returned to the COMPEX last October 28, 2007. I ask the manager of the branch to get my refund or replacement of the item by she decline to answered and he was advise me to wait to get feedback until last November 01, 2007. I let the days passed due to holidays. I follow up the request November 06, 2007, but Ms. Myla advise me to wait again for a feedback.
The COMPEX branch asking me to wait for a feedback from a service center due to the ITEM still on repairing status, which I believed not acceptable on the service that I am asking from them. I am asking on the COMPEX to get my refund even not full amount of the money I pay or a replacement of the ITEM.
FYI: I just want to ensure that I will get my rights as a consumer to get the refund or replacement of the defective ITEM I buy from COMPEX. Kindly assist me on follow-up on the COMPEX with land line number 455-2967 contact person Ms. Hyna Santos.

    good day to all who will read this,

    im not siding with compex, cause I had experienced the same scenario as yours, but in fairness with the staff and manager of the store it is not their will why your defective items them takes to long to be replace or to be refunded. it is in the managent that you should address your complaint,  direcly and i do suggest that the most effective way is to address this to the DTI and don't you agree for the replacement ask for the refund of your money.

    yes I agree with you Mr./Ms. unknown. same thing with me, i also had same incident from this store. so folks out there, if you bought something specially electronic gadgets anywhere and found out to be defective don't just ask for a replacement but ask for a refund of your money and make a necessary complaint right away.

    I used to work for Compex decades ago, yes, this company does have questionable business practice. The owner got its wealth by selling refurbish electric typewriter as new typewriter, when PC became popular, it brings in hundred of motherboards a week (tax free), which by the way the owner failed to pay his (deceased) supplier in Taiwan.

    Which will makes you wonder, do they give a shxt to your threat and complaint? if this company were able to dodge tax audit and finance investigation in mid-80s, what makes you think they will call your bluff?

    you got a point, for an unbias comment to protect the staff and store manager, but a company this size, don't you think they import few pieces or dozen pieces of the products? when I used to worked for this company, it was a mantra that end-user complaint, drag it as long as you can until the client give up, they can afford to loose one client. Unlike those dealers or distributors that they can not afford to offend.

    Tf you think DTI will help you resolve your complaint...dont fool yourselves...they are just the same with other bunch of [***] agencies in the philippines.

    Just my two cents of unsolicited advise.
    1. If you're complaint is really valid and you are determined enough to pin down this company. Go to a lawyer and file a case against them. There are lawyer who offers their professional service free. Search for others who have had the same faith as yours, joined together with one complaint to make your case strong.
    2. Ask the help of media (eg. XXX of ABSCBN, ISUMBONG MO KAY TULFO, etc) to expose their bad practise in public. So others may be informed and be warned of this kind of injustice to customers like you and me.
    3. Dont GO to any government agencies for help....youre just wasting your effort.

    thank goodness i found this page before i purchase from compex megamall! i'm really interested with their laptop sale and is about to go back tomorrow to buy the neo basic 2186 worth 21+k. now i have to rethink and have decided NOT to buy from them. thanks for the warning guys!

    I agreed that we should not complaint the manager persee' or the staff of the store... but the only way to address the issues is to escalate by the store manager the complaint of a consumer to the management.. and definitely i cannot complaint to the management directly right? inshort.. strategy un ng complainers to ask managers assistance or to complain the manager because the manager is the frontliner of the management... and she had/should have a direct decision a the scenarios.

    mabuti na lang nabasa ko ito site na ito, pabili pa naman ako laptop ngayon sa north edsa. grabe,walang konsensya me ari pala ng compex, mabigyan ko na nga rin ng warning kakilala ko na wag na wag bibili dyan sa compex, hirap ng buhay nagagawa pa nila manloko ng tao. mE KARMA yan!

    waaah! late ko nang nabasa toh ah. hay! kakainis! ngayon kasi, i'm experiencing the same thing. phone naman sakin. ang nangyari naman sakin, after 1 month from date of purchase, biglang di na nadedetect yung memory slot ng phone. so nung pinakita ko sa compex yung phone, ang sabi nila, ibalik ko daw muna para mapaayos nila sa service center nila tapos mga 1-2 weeks daw yung itatagal nun. e di binalik ko yung phone the next day. so after 1 week na binalik ko yung phone ko, bumalik ako to follow up yung phone ko. kaso ang sabi ni ms.ning, hindi pa daw dumadating sa kanila yung phone ko kasi nung isang araw pa lang daw nila napadala yung phone ko sa service center. then 2 weeks after nung binalik ko sa kanila yung phone ko, tumawag ako sa office nila to follow up again. ang nakausap ko yung isang staff kasi kumakain daw si ms.ning. so nagtanong ako kung ok na ba yung phone ko. kaso parang yung tone nya, parang nagtataray pa na ewan. ang sabi nya sakin, wala pa daw. tapos kung dumating na naman daw sakanila yung phone ko, iko-contact naman daw nila ako tutal may number naman daw ako sakanila. super naiinis na tuloy ako. sabi nila 1-2 weeks maibabalik sakin yung phone ko, biglang lagpas na ng 2 weeks, wala padin. nakakainis. ngayon ang feeling ko, gusto kong irefund nalang nila yung binayad ko.
