Blue Bell Ice Cream Causes Severe Stomach Ache & Diarrhea. Has Blue Bell changed their recipe or are we more sensitive to the chemicals. Blue Bell does not have a phone or email, must mail a letter. If you can't reach Blue Bell, that is because they know Blue Bell ice cream is making people sick. I asked family and friends, and some said they also got sick from Blue Bell Ice Cream and no longer buy it and now look for natural ice cream without all the fillers and chemicals like Blue Bell Ice Cream. Severe stomach ache & diarrhea only when I eat Blue Bell ice cream.  Within 15-30 minutes after eating a bowl, I get major stomach pain, cramps and within the hour better be close to a bathroom.  Never had this problem with other ice cream. Is there any natural ice cream at an affordable price at the grocery stores?  Breyers natural ice cream has lots of complaints as they now use chemicals in their ice cream too. Or do I have to go to a health food store or make my own ice cream?  Here is a link on how to make your own ice cream with real ingredients, looks pretty easy.

    I assumed my stomach hurt after Blue Bell because of the amount of heavy milk fats in it. It's made with heavy cream and it's more concentrated/harder so it carries a lot of fat from dairy. I get the same way when I drink too much milk, especially if it's not skim.

    Sick to DEATH of the most recent recall of Blue Bell products and the ensuing difficulties, concern, etc.
    I shop at Kroger and use my Kroger card, thus, must be the source that provided my telephone number to go into some system that uses robo-dialers for automated, recorded telephone messages.
    HELLO!  It is ILLEGAL to use robo-dialers to call cell phones without prior written authorization/permission from the owner of the phone.  So, Blue Bell...AND...Kroger, I suggest you find an alternative method of notification.
    Further, first a partial recall, then they (Kroger, Blue Bell and others) recall everything.  Fine.  However, stick a fork in you Blue Bell for you are done in my book.  I will never purchase another Blue Bell product as long as I live.
    The auto-calls with the message come from (800) 576-4377 and refer further questions to Blue Bell @ (866) 608-3940 OR the Blue Bell website.  Don't attempt to obtain any info from the Blue Bell website, because you evidently have to "sign up" to "sign in".  The "contact" link on the site does not include a link for email, it is a physical address only.  Blue Bell is done, honestly, I do not feel they will EVER be able to come back from this, and my family will never purchase another of their products.
    I have a further concern in RE to this most recent crisis, and that would be verification and validation of each and every individual that works in the creameries.  Either they are US citizens or they have proper documentation RE work Visas.  INS take notice.  I think each and every hard-working American of EVERY race, culture, and creed, that works for a living has a right to know that Blue Bell workers ARE documented, as should be all workers in all plants, factories, etc.

    Ate blue bell butter pecan and have been having severe stomach pains and diarrhea!! Damn listeria ice cream!! Never buying their [***] again!

    I ate blue bell cookies and cream ice cream, like someone said before, within 20min my stomach started aching. its going to be a long night I'm laying in bed right now mf

    Not until recently has Blue Bell been causing stomach aches. Maybe me and everyone who commented is Lactose intolerant, maybe its not the ice cream.

    I ate Blue Bell Butter Crunch last night and have severe intestinal pain today. But to be fair, I also have Crohn's disease and a mild sensitivity to gluten. But then again, gluten has never given me this much intestinal pain before, and the pain is different than a Crohn's flare. And I've been in remission a year now from treatments. So while I think it's probably the ice cream making me feel like this, I have to be fair to disclose other health concerns that I have.

      Oh wow, this used to be my favorite. Now if I eat it  I'm camping out in the restroom for hours. It feels like my stomach is being shredded. All flavors have my stomach turning knots but this is the worst. Never had this problem before the shut down.

    I ate Blue Bell chocolate chip ice cream & had a stomach ache a little later. Didn't think much about it, but after having another bowl a few days later & again, the stomach ache, so now I am putting 2 & 2 together, it must be the ice cream. I have had their Rocky Road ice cream before with no problems. I am throwing out this one & will no longer buy it. Too bad for Blue Bell. I did enjoy it before, but I do not intend to purchase it again.

    Me andmy baby dad was both  put. In the hostipal. From eating tripled chocolate ice cream today was very I'll had cost way more than expected we loved blue Bell ice cream no other than the way togo. It was the best for us  know that thishas happen it cost me a babysitter for over 24, hr lot of pain and very expensive. Bills  because of the way we felt like we were dieing couldn't even pick my son up that's really sucks to know we paid 7.00 for something we all use to injoy but it cost me like 30000 just to be able to pick my head up its a shame  just a lot of a problem that should a never happen so like I said blue bell caused me a lot of hell and pain that should a never happened and bills that I will have hell paying  its already hard on the people who have always been poor and then you have to see you have cost me way more than I have just to payed y'all Seven dollars a half gallon to cost me 30000 in bill that will ruein my credit thanks again forpain suffering and expenses for the ice cream that we once enjoyed will cost me the rest of my life just think I could a put my son incollage  for seven dollars y'all got that fuckd us up  I can say its not worth it in this day in time for the way it is sorry to be able to say that I payed to make me feel like I wasthe walking dead just wait n to fall out anytime after I payed for it wish I had that seven dollars to get my med  to keep me from loseing what little bit of guts I have left very painful never have I ever hurt this way

    I had 1/2 cup of vanilla and had diarrhea and severe stomach ache the rest of the day and into the morning.
    Will never buy Blue Bell again!
