I wanted to let everyone know that this company is ran and owned from the same owner as Premiere Whos Who and Pinnacle Publishing they charge customers from one company to another. All along the customers believe they are dealing with three different companies when in fact they are dealing with one. Dont let them get you too...

I received a poor quality Internet phone call from a well rehearsed salesman .
The pitch was founded on the underlying concept of a vanity publishing proposition and pretended to take
The form of an " interview" for selection as a participant. The £2,500 sting came at the end.
Requests for reflection and further information packs were met with the old " we can rework the numbers"
nonsense. I can see naive people being taken for a ride with this scam and being soaked for a lot of cash.
Be critically aware of the underlying psychology used and put the phone down quickly

Then it is is not for you. you are so quick to call it a scam I have done 4 shows and agree that there probally isn't a big audience. I have put the shows on my website and emailed the last one out to prospected clients. I enjoyed the service they offered and was never promised anything but the 4 interviews which they delivered. I am far from naive I own a succesful business and I enjoyed doing their show

What I don't understand is how those here who have had a *good* experience with Ashford seem to expect the rest of us to accept them as good because of their positive experience.  What is it you don't understand?  It's not rocket science.  Ashford preys of specific individuals and then takes advantage of them.  Yes, they do offer a legitimate service.  Yes, you did have a great experience with them.  Yes, others have too.  But there are many others who have been scammed BIG TIME by them.  They don't target everyone.  They pose as a legitimate business based on people with experiences like you.  Then they target others who are easy prey.

Go back and read my earlier post.  These charges are REAL charges.  The banks lawyers have been involved and the authorities have been contacted regarding them.  Because you had a great experience, which I'm very happy about, does that mean we should just swallow the tens of thousands of dollars of fraudulant charges they milked over and over and over again.  I guess we're wrong... We should just open our wallet and let them take everything because you had such a wonderful experience.

Man... It's amazing how naive some people can be.  Just be glad they didn't target you.  And I pitty anyone else who falls prey to these horrible people.

Its unbelievable how this company has not yet been closed down, i truly believe in karma and trust me one day the owner of this company will have his day, and i hope its in jail. Not only did he steal peoples money but he treated his employees like [***]! Employees checks never had any funds. He never had the nerve to face anyone cause his [***] tommy would always do his dirty work for him. All i have to say is what comes around goes around and this [***] will one day get his

I don't know why anyone would buy something over the phone, like radio spot or any advertising without a signed contract.Whenever I need to advertise for my business you an best be sure there was a contract signed by both parties. That is how business is done.If you give someone your credit card over the phone without getting it in writing then you might as well leave your checkbook on your front lawn. Also they are big in who's who which is a social media to connect you with others in your Profession.I personally don't believe in it with all the social medias out there, but then I would have never given money over the phone without investigating it first.I don't want to hear about the pressure of a salesman when all you have to do is say lets talk later or just click. It is the phone and not face to face. They like everyone else are trying to make a living regardless of past things some might have done. Those that think they were scammed know where they need to contact, but don't cry and wallow in self pity because of it.It also tells me maybe you did contact agencies regarding your accusation of an alleged scam and they told you no scam,so you are out of luck. And for the one who spent $80000.00 really wasn't thinking and makes me wonder where your business is today.Good luck everyone and I hope you can recoup your money if it is a scam, but please take time for the valuable lesson you learned.ALWAYS GET IN IN WRITING.

Looks like many people have been scammed by these "people", including me. I have been reading these posts on and off for a while. I think it is past time that we all stop giving these "people" any more of our valuable time and energy. They are all crooks and will continue to close and reopen scams under different names until karma comes around and bites them on the a**. There is plenty of evidence against them online for anyone to read that is thinking about giving them money. This will be the last time I will be on here because they don't deserve anymore of my precious time. Hope some of you guys feel the same way as well.
