I just got hit with a charged for 29.99 on my Amex. There're affiliate of avast Virus software. I had them at one time. I didn't know realize they still had my info. When I got my statement for Amex it showed nexwaysoftware.com which I never heard of. I try getting into my account but to no avail. It said the email don't exist . Then I try the 1800 number. It redirected back to the site. Bottom line call your credit card and put a hold on the charge. Good luck!

I was scammed to buy some freaking Indian talkin guy from India putting false virus alert on my computer got me to download this and that all I know is if I could get my hands on that maggot he would experience a long and painful death scammers I hate them wanted me to go to Walmart buy iTune gift cards show him numbers and cut the cards up got into my computer and was changing a lot of stuff threatening to lock it down and I'll admit I was scared did not know what to do I went to Social Security office my bank put all kinds of credit freezes on my account change my bank account opened up a new account social security has got a fraud alert on all my transactions or their transactions through me had to get my laptop checked out to see if they planted any undiscovered mobile malware or anything of that matter everything is all clear now so please if you're ever on your computer and a big red sign pops up on your screen flashing telling you warning warning forget it ignore it delete it or whatever you must do because once you click on that number to call it's the scanners Indian maggot I'm sorry I'm just venting right now I am very upset and I would love to get my hands on him

Was debited $29.99 by Nexway on 12/27/13 then debited $39.99 by AVAST on 12/30/13. Why was I deducted $69.99 for the same product?

I also received a charge 39.99 ....called 415-449-4713......they said that the amount should be added back to my card with 5-7 days......we shall see

was charged by Nexwaysoftware (which I have never even heard of) $29.99 for something i never agreed to Once had some security with Avast but quit using it a long time ago, but their security warning keeps popping up on my computer and I just ignore it because I no longer have or want their service. Seems like they are doing this to lots of people. I have contested the charge with my Visa account. Let's see what happens!

Just got charged 39.99 today, had to cancel my card and dispute the charge, go in and fill out forms and get a new card!! Tried email, bounced back, avast site is down of course, I'll go pay them a visit texas style!!!!!

Got a $49.99 charge on my card on 14 June. I did not authorize this charge from a French company and will now formally dispute it with my credit card company. Damn! The "company likely does not exist; no way to contact them. A scam....
Checked directly with avast! This outfit is legit and not a scam. It seems inappropriate that a French company with no way to contact it is billing for software produced in Holland. It is also disturbing that others have reported that their San Frsncisco office phone number doesn't answer. But Nexway Software appears to be a trusted avast! partner.

Same story. $34.00 charge for no reason, except theft. Have not used avast for years. Cannot see myself using them ever. A bit 'dodgy' to say the least.

Just got hit for $39.99 never bought a thing someone has a sophisticated scam going called my bank just jn time to stop the charge and getting a new card fraud dept is on it.
