A man called me, he's telling that he works in mobily and surprising me that I have won of 200,000.00 sr in mobily promo with a join force of MOBILY, STC, ZAIN, AND ETISALAT FROM DUBAI RAFFLE PROMO , I was been selected. And he send me an e-portal message in my mobily number using a mobily service also. But, I can receive only my prize if I will send him a 1,300 sr cash or a load card of zain,mobily and stc worth 1,300 and send him the activation number of that load card to them thats the time he will send me the check number which worth of 200,000.00 then I can go to any bank for claiming my prize amount. Unbelievable, because is their a raffle promo from mobily that asking a money first to receive your prize? Then I try to call him back the number he uses to call me but it is already off. It seems there's a lot of modus operandi which uses the telecomunications company to hook some people for taking cash. It is a GANG. Pls advise if this kind of raffle promo is true? I have a doubt! That is the mobily number above he use to call me, pls try to retrieve it so you can do something to catch them. And if possible their will be no other people which they can make again like this kind of criminal act which I experienced to them in the future. TY!

    I received similar call just now from an Indian or Pakistan national (i just recognized the way he speak). My initial reaction is that it is not true because the person who call me use a personal number. I entertain him with a thinking that what if its true, i will be very happy to have 200000SAR. They told me that an SMS will be sent to me and i need to call them to follow the complete procedure how to claim my prize. I received an sms from STC with a message about secret code and information not to disclose this to anyone even to an STC representative. I was surprised that it may be true because the doubt from the number who called me was eliminated when i received the message from STC. Then i called back the number who called and ask about the next step. When he is asking about the secret code, this is the time our disagreement arise. He told me that he is the Manager and he will close my file if I will not give him the code. He started to become angry and insisting that it is the procedure. When i told him that the message is very clear "not to disclose" so i told him that i will just go to his office in STC to give him the code. It was then he became more angry saying that he has no time to meet me. With this huge amount of prize he has no time to entertain the winner, well i told him to do what he want and he said he will close my file with disappointed voice and drop the line. It is good that we did not even reach the point of giving my bank account number or giving him any sawa pin code. Thank you for this information as well because it enlightens me that the call i have received is a "FRAUD"

      Just happened this day in the morning, ,they called me for almost an hour,  they tracked  the number that I used to call yesterday and even my load balance account,  its really almost same, how come?  Really how did you know it?..,... but im still on panic,  still arguing with them if it is true  , and  again...and 902 no.is calling me.. that don't worry this is true., so how can I believe  them or what to do...maybe this is true i whispered to myself  because even 902 the stc no. Is call ing me so after an hour of conversation ..im on out of mind to paid 2500 riyal and one of my friend supporting me to do it Be positive,  maybe your lucky day, I was flabbergasted, when  I used to  search  on Google if their is a promo of stc, and came to find out Its a Fraud 899660   almost same with the pin no. they given to me,He is indian nationality,  I recognized his voice,   so shame,hope u will wait your Karma of doin this, God knows, please guys. Beware of this  .. I became one of a victim  and I  just lost 2500 rriyal In just an hour, and I hope. . Im the last victim and stc will take immediate.action of this ....

    I received similar message today 30-Dec-2013 around 1500H. Their using a personal # 0506102461. The only difference is he knows my complete name the last 3 numbers that i called. Beware!

      I have this feeling that one of these scammers are employee of STC. I would never forget the man I've talk to when I inquire on STC asking for my iqama id Number, now this scammer has the same voice with the man

    This gang may have conspirators working in the telecom industry or they are plain hackers. I am surprised how they manage to get my real name. I understand all prepaid sim cards are link to the subscriber's Iqama. So if they are able to get my real name it means they have access to a database where all prepaid subscriber's personal information are stored. There are only two possible scenarios here - either they are extremely smart hackers or they have partners in crime working the telecom industry. I hope Saudi authorities will take this matter seriously because it is our privacy that is being compromised here.

    Dear all this is bring everyone's attention that I have also received the same call today from the number 05 058-31571.. stc should seriously do something abt it...the guy was telling me to check whether I have the number 8996601 at the back of the simcard or not...and then if yes I have to call back to him on to the same number...- didn't though 200000 riyals is quite high but I kept my patience...then he called me again and asked "u didn't call back to confirm and I said " why should I if u r calling then give me the details now" he says " don't u want the prize" and cuts the phone..it happened in 5 mins. Then I checked and got on this thread...so this my story..thabk god I kept my cool and didn't reveal any identification details to this guy...stc or any one if u can do something plz do as this is very serious...

      Just to add this guy was from pakistan...he knew Arabic very well also urdu and bit of english....

    I also got a phone call on my mobile no telling they r stc people and I had won lots of money by lottery which he will give if I tell my iqama number so I did then he asked me to give 2 sawa cards of 100sr each which I have given then he told me to give another 9 sawa cards of 100 sr each till then he will not proceed but we found out it is a scam and by the grace of allah sawt we have  protected at the right time

    Today 04/05/2014 a man call me from 0506718918  Arabic language  he told me you win 200000 sr from combine stc zain mobily .he told me also cheik this number back site stc sim .and call us back .but i thinking this is fled. quickly i call to stc num 902 but i dident receive any response from stc.then i open sts page on internet and i cheek my friend suggestion about this fled game thanks all friend about this.please any body call to you carefully fled people.

    its a bogus i received a call from a sounding pakistani/indian guy saying that I won from a weekly raffle from STC and the sim card 8996601 the moble they used to call me is this 0503401939... Its SCAM...

    I recieved a call just now congratulating me that i won 200,000 riyals? I ask the guy how did i qualify for the said promo... He said i won thru electronic raffle and he gave me this winning code etc. I even checked the stc websites if they offering this promo..

    Thank God i havnt share my personal information..
