Caller IDs himself as Joe Collins, Fraternal (or Loyal) Order of Police; but the phone number 717-286-1596 belongs to L***P*** of Lancaster PA; asking for a donation. [This is NOT Joseph Collins, Loyal Order of Police, Wisconsin Dept. of Justice).  THIS IS A SCAM. Kept calling several times, even though I told him that I don't believe him; had to put a call block on his number.

    WHY can't these calls be stopped?  The # came ups as Scranton, Pa.  I did a reverse look up and 4 people claimed it was a scam.  What it is it going to take to stop these calls?  I will not be donating to ANY police function-fraternal order or not.

    I never sign up for anything  this company is  a SCAM I Have turn them into the FBI fraud hope they can shut these ppl down I am  not letting this  go  I or my attorney one will get these JERKS

    I just hung up with this "gentleman."  The number from which he called was 213/814-2492.

    Got a call from Joe Collins from LA  213-769-1620.  Has called several times from different locations.  It's a scam.

    Same SCAM call here. Some jerk with a very firm voice blabs about something with the police, that the call will be recorded and asks to speak to the owner of the business.
    So I hung up, because there is no business here and I am not an owner.
    And I am not stupid to fall for a scam like that!

    I get calls from him all the time.  Today's number was 2674951186 and came up as Paete Starnet.  Wasn't interested when I wasn't the owner. Had a call from him another day where I let him talk for a while before telling him no. He was very happy.

    today he called and very convincing, he has been doing this for years by the looks of it from the internet the number was Rochester 716-362-7037.  I called the number back and he said "hello" and then went into the deal.

    He called from the number 586-353-1892 stating his name was Joe Collins and he is from the Fraternal Order of Police, and wanted to speak to the owner of our company, when told the owner wasn't in, he wanted to know if I could make financial decisions, when I said no, he hung up. Then I googled his name found these reviews!  Macomb MI

    Just got a call from this man from an Auburn Hills, MI phone number. Started out by making a joke about how difficult to reach I am. Continued to give me a spiel about the Fraternal Order of Police. I said he had the wrong number, and he said he had the right number. I asked him several times who he was trying to reach, and eventually he hung up.

    313 SCAM 1-313-635-4994 answered phone even though caller ID said unavailable.  Guy made a joke about how hard it is to reach us then immediately said he is Joe Collins with the Faternal Order of Police.  As a retired member of Federal task force these calls are SCAMS.  Do NOT give any money.  Police will not call you over the phone to ask for donations!

    Isn't there a number to see who really is calling and you can really track? I recall, way back when, 2 numbers and either a # or a * .

    I just received a call from an Allegan, Michigan phone number (269-620-7020). He started by saying "Well you're harder to get ahold of than a rock on Mars!" When I asked who was calling, he said Joel Collins from the FOP State Lodge. I hung up.

      I'm in Kalamazoo, and I've been getting calls from the (269-620-7020) number as well, I don't pick-up, they don't talk or leave a message.

    I just realized this is not a real person but a well made bot call the number back and say abc or xyz this is a well made bot that has programmed rebuttals for things like wrong number or who is this but ask him something unconventional and it will eventually hang up.
